6 Substances are Added into List of Precursor Chemicals in China

6 substances are managed as precursor chemicals in China, in accordance with an announcement released by China’s State Council on 28 May 2021.

These 6 substances are classified into two different categories.

4 substances are classified as Category II Precursor Chemicals while the rest 2 are classified as Category III Precursor Chemicals.

All the precursor chemicals are managed under the Regulation on the Administration of Precursor Chemicals. Enterprises dealing with the above substances should particular pay attention to their obligations during the process of manufacturing, operating, purchasing, transporting, importing and exporting of the substances.
