Bryan Zhou, deputy general manager of CIRS Europe presented The Latest Updates on Chemical Regulations in China on the first day of Chemspec Europe 2023.
Chemspec Europe is a key event for the fine and speciality chemicals industry. This year will be the 36th edition of the event. The exhibition is the place to be for purchasers and agents to meet with manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors of fine and speciality chemicals to source specific solutions and bespoke products.
The conference will take place from May 24-25, 2023, at Messe Basel in Switzerland.
His presentation covered:
- The regulatory framework and Inventories of chemical regulations in China;
- Updates of different regulatory obligations including MEE Order 12 (China REACH), GHS, QR code of hazardous chemicals, and VOC testing; and
- Practical advice on chemical regulatory compliance in China.
The event was well attended by a diverse range of industry stakeholders. Bryan was accompanied by Li Xiang, business manager from CIRS Europe. Both found it a fruitful event, with many insightful conversations. They were also happy to have a chance to catch up with members of Global Product Compliance (GPC) [below left] and REGARTIS s.r.o [below right].
