CIRS Group Announces the Launch of iCIMS – Intelligent Chemical Inventory Management System

On February 27, CIRS Group announced the launch of iCIMS, an intelligent chemical inventory management system, to help enterprises boost the digital transformation of chemical management and cope with various chemical regulatory challenges with ease.

Enterprises are facing numerous challenges in chemical management. Specifically speaking, chemicals are subject to various regulations (such as hazardous chemicals, dangerous goods, new chemical substances, and precursor chemicals) and different authorities (such as the customs, the Ministry of Emergency Management, and the Ministry of Ecology and Environment,) have varied requirements. Meanwhile, regulations and regulatory lists are constantly changing. If chemical management is simply done manually, it is easy to overlook information or make mistakes. The iCIMS enables employees and managers to search and download SDSs in various formats, easily acquire information on chemical hazards and emergency response, and import data automatically with the assistance of CIRS Group's SDS software. It also supports auto-reminders for SDS expiration.

►03 Automatic Generation of Integrated GHS labels

In compliance with GHS and identified management requirements on “one enterprise, one product with one QR code” by the Ministry of Emergency Management, iCIMS generates an integrated GHS label by combining its original label and the safety information code of hazardous chemicals. The system also provides labels in different formats and can be used in sectors such as import, export, storage, transport, and operation.

The iCIMS system includes the latest chemical regulatory requirements and regulatory inventories. It inserts an independently developed engine that can identify the regulatory categories of chemicals (especially mixtures) and generate the corresponding compliance obligations.
