Inspection and Regulation Service Limited (CIRS) is to host the China and EU Chemical Regulation Forum in Intercontinental Shanghai Pudong Hotel on 14 March
2018. This Forum mainly focuses on the latest chemical regulations in EU and
China. Officials from ECHA, Shanghai Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine
Bureau and Shanghai Administration of Work Safety as well as experts from CIRS
will speak during the Forum.
Official Interpretation to China Hazardous Chemical Administrative Policies
Recently, China is attaching great importance to the administration of hazardous chemicals. On 1 May 2015, the Catalog of Hazardous Chemicals (2015 edition) officially took effect. The implementation of this Catalog showed that China tightened its administration on hazardous chemicals. For this reason, officials from Shanghai CIQ will give a speech in the Forum and shared their opinions on how to better manage hazardous chemicals, how to judge whether a chemical is a hazardous chemical as well as the supervisory strategies concerning the export, storage and transport of hazardous chemicals.
The last registration deadline under REACH is approaching
As the REACH registration will be closed on 31 May 2018, relevant enterprises only have less than 6 months to register under REACH. To help enterprises understand the new features of REACH registration in 2018, to guide enterprises in REACH registration and to assist enterprises in regulatory compliance after REACH registration completed, officials from ECHA and experts from CIRS will give a speech and provide answers in details.
Latest progress of the amended Guidance Documents for New Chemical Substance Notification in China
On 31 August 2017, China Ministry of Environmental Protection (MEP) announced to adjust the data requirements under the Guidance Documents for New Chemical Substance Notification. How will the amended guidance documents influence relevant enterprises? How can enterprises comply with the amended guidance documents? For this reason, experts from CIRS will speak at the Forum to help enterprises better understand their obligations and give suggestions to them.
