Background
In 2021 and 2022, the number of new food raw material applications accepted by the National Health Commission (NHC) has been over 20, which reaches a peak in recent 10 years. To apply for a new food raw material, the applicant needs to make full preparation for dossiers such as the raw material development report, safety assessment report, and production process material.

Ms. Wing Yu, Technical Manager of Food Business Division
Ms. Wing Yu graduated from Zhejiang University with Master Degree of Food Engineering. After joining CIRS, she focuses on food regulatory compliance field and is responsible for the technical work of health food registration and filing, FSMP registration, infant formula registration, “three new food” (new food raw material, new food additive, and new food contact substance) registration in China. She has successfully obtained the approval of a number of new products application, and accumulated rich practical experience in long-term work.
Mr. Hui Xu, Food Regulatory Consultant
Mr. Hui Xu has a deep understanding of food-related regulations with broad experience in dealing with regulatory matters in the fields of health food registration/filling, FSMP, new food raw materials, and new food additives. Being proficient in Japanese, he focuses on providing food-related compliance services for Japanese enterprises.
Ms. Doris Huang, Food Regulatory Consultant
Ms. Doris Huang graduated from Wageningen University with a Master degree in food quality and management. She is familiar with the application of new food raw material, FSMP, infant formula related regulations and trends, and is an expert in providing overseas enterprises with regulatory compliance consultancy.
