Introduction
Infant formula plays an important role in feeding infants. Because of the large number of Chinese population, Chinese infant formula industry has its natural advantage. In recent years, the annual Chinese market of infant formula reaches 100 billion RMB with 10% increase rate. Also, positive factors like the two-child policy make the infant formula industry promising. In addition, many Chinese consumers tend to choose imported infant formula, which results in more and more foreign infant formula companies showing their interest in Chinese market. However, Chinese government pays high attention to the quality of infant formula, thus government set strict requirements and regulations on the infant formula registration.
Those regulation barriers usually make the foreign infant formula companies confused: Are all the foreign companies allowed to export infant formula to China? What is the process of exporting infant formula to China? What kind of preparation shall be conducted? This webinar will answer those frequently asked question in detail.
Besides, China and USA has signed the Economic and trade agreement in January of 2020, which includes the convenience policies for USA infant formula being exported to China. Those policies make the infant formula produced by American manufacturer enter to Chinese market quicker and easier. Therefore, this webinar will also emphasize the impact on the exporting infant formula from USA to China caused by the newly signed agreement.
