K-REACH - Dossiers of 336 Priority Existing Chemicals were Submitted after the First Registration Deadline

The first registration deadline-for 510 priority existing chemicals (PECs)-under K-REACH was closed on 2 July 2018.

Only 350 substances have lead registrants, among which only 336 substances have submitted the registration dossier before the first registration deadline. As a consequence, enterprises failing to submit the registration dossiers for the substances must stop importing or manufacturing related substances until they submit and get approvals for these substances.

Besides, among the 336 substances, 201 substances have been approved while the rest 135 substances are either waiting for a reply or requested to provide additional information.

Enterprises that are requested to provide additional information must submit related information before 30 September 2018.
