In order to promote world trade of chemicals and protect the human health and the environment, in 2003 the UN published the Global Harmonised System (GHS), which defines harmonised criteria for classification and labelling of chemical products and standardizes the communication of hazards through SDSs and labels.
The purpose of the webinar is to provide a brief introduction to the GHS and provide guidance on how to communicate the danger of chemical substances and mixtures in the Asian Countries that have adopted the GHS, highlighting the differences between the various implementations of the system globally harmonized classification and labelling.
